About the university

Founded in 2001, the CECOS University is a for-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Peshawar (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, CECOS University (CU) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 students) coeducational Pakistani higher education institution. CECOS University (CU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees in several areas of study. This 23-year-old Pakistani higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic records and grades.
