PAF Air War College Institute Karachi

PAF Air War College Institute, located at PAF Base Faisal, is the Pakistan Air Force’s premier academic establishment, providing training to mid-career and senior officers of the PAF, along with select officers from the Pakistan Army, Navy, and allied forces. Affiliated with the National Defence University, Islamabad, since 2007, it previously had ties with the University of Karachi and Air University Pakistan. The institute offers two key programs: the Air War Course (AWC) for senior command roles and the Senior Command & Staff Course (SC&SC) for mid-career officers. Graduates of the War Course earn the ‘fawc’ symbol and a Master of Science in War Studies from NDU.
