About the university

Established in 2002, the University of Education is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Lahore (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Punjab. This institution also has branch campuses in Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Joharabad, Multan, Vehari and Attock. Officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, University of Education (UE) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational Pakistani higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. University of Education (UE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 22-year-old Pakistani higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic records and grades.
